Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

Welcome to Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church!

The Prophet Jeremiah visited a potter’s shop and observed the potter working with the clay. He also noticed that the clay could be remolded or reshaped as long as it remained pliable. He realized that God’s people are like that clay. The offer of a second chance is always available from the Risen Christ as long as we remain pliable and open to the Holy Spirit.
Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church is not a perfect church, but it is working toward perfection in the Wesleyan tradition. It is a church where members encourage one another in the Christian faith as individuals, families, and friends. It is a church where members strive to make the presence of the Risen Christ known in their community. It is a church where members pray for their community and each other. It is a church where the members are committed to the Risen Christ.
I am very blessed to be the pastor of Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church, a church going on to perfection with “Open Hearts, Open Minds, and Open Doors.”

Grace and peace,

Pastor Dwight
